My photo

I am the manager and curator of the National Deaf Life Museum at Gallaudet University. My primary professional research field is the history of Gallaudet and the history of deaf education and the Deaf community in the United States. My Bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies is from Gallaudet, and my Master's degree in Applied History is from George Mason University. In addition to my work as a museum curator and administrator, I frequently consult on the topic of making exhibitions and programming more accessible to Deaf visitors.

On an amateur level, I enjoy reading about the history of space exploration, and studying primary sources regarding the Holocaust. I am fluent in English and American Sign Language, and can use French for advanced conversation. I spent a year teaching ASL for JASS in Tokyo after finishing my undergraduate studies.

I identify as queer, Deaf, and a feminist. My pronouns are she/her.
